Confronted with wars, conflicts and violence in various parts of the world, we have invented the time-out: every day in every time zone at 12 noon we stop for a moment – of silence or prayer – to unitedly ask for the gift of peace and to focus our personal commitment to build peace wherever we live.

United to thousands of teenagers, youth and adults worldwide we ask for peace in every nation on the earth, especially for … (name the countries at war) and wherever violence and injustice reign.
We commit ourselves to make the Golden Rule our own: "Do to others what you want them to do to you" in order to bring peace where we live and build a united world.
