{"id":9,"date":"2016-01-13T17:38:55","date_gmt":"2016-01-13T16:38:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.teens4unity.org\/chi-siamo-2\/"},"modified":"2017-03-05T17:57:31","modified_gmt":"2017-03-05T16:57:31","slug":"chi-siamo","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.teens4unity.org\/en\/chi-siamo\/","title":{"rendered":"Who are we?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"column one-second\"><\/p>\n<p>We are the Teens for Unity, the teenagers of the <a href=\"http:\/\/focolare.org\">Focolare Movement<\/a> present in <span class=\"highlight\" >182 Countries<\/span>\n.<\/p>\n<p>We live in different parts of the world, we speak different languages, we belong to different religions and some of us do not have a religious faith, however we are united by a common goal: working in contributing to build a united world, to bring about <span class=\"highlight\" >universal brotherhood<\/span>\n, giving life to <span class=\"highlight\" >actions of peace<\/span>\n starting with our own daily life and with our cities. We want to involve in this project many other teenagers worldwide.<\/p>\n<h3>What do we believe in?<\/h3>\n<p>We believe that only mutual respect between people and peoples can change the world, only unity can heal hatred and conflicts, only brotherhood can help to build a better world together.<\/p>\n<p>Every day we try to live and spread the so-called <a href=\"\/?page_id=56\">&ldquo;Golden Rule&rdquo;<\/a> that is present in the main religions and cultures. This rule says &quot;do to others what you would want them to do to you and don&#39;t do to others what you would not want them to do to you.&quot;  We want it to become a reality among all the people in the world.<\/p>\n<h3>What do we want?<\/h3>\n<p>In every possible way we come up with diverse activities worldwide to break down barriers and divisions so that a united and peaceful world will soon become a reality among all people in the world. <\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"column one-second\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"image_frame no_link scale-with-grid has_border\" ><div class=\"image_wrapper\"><img class=\"scale-with-grid\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/saluto-r4u-libano.jpg\" alt=\"\"   \/><\/div><\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"We are the Teens for Unity, the teenagers of the Focolare Movement present in 182 Countries .
