HOLY LAND: The burden becomes light
I live close to the wall that was built in my country to divide us between Arabs and Jews. Every morning I see it when I open my window. Then along the road there are blockades where the soldiers stop and control the documents of anyone who wants to pass. Thus it’s a real venture going to school, or visiting relatives or friends! I get nervous every time the soldiers stop us. But then I remember that I can offer my fear to Jesus and that I need to love that soldier who is human like me.
In this way I feel that Jesus becomes everything to me, and with the strength that he gives me to begin anew each day, the weight of difficulties become lighter.
